You are cordially invited to the Fourth Annual Evergreen Invitational Forensics Tournament hosted by Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, TN on Saturday, December 7nd, 2024.
*Please note that the pre-registration deadline is Tuesday, November 26th at 3 PM. This is set to make sure you pre-register before Thanksgiving Break, and so that we can get an accurate number of teams before the break. Thank you for pre-registering ASAP!*
This will be a 3-round (1 judge per round) tournament with a final round (3 judges for finals).
Schools are allowed to bring up to 10 entries in each event. Each contestant is allowed 3 entries in total. Contestants in TV Broadcasting or Extemporaneous Speaking Public Forum may double enter. Public Forum Debate may only single enter.
"Evergreen Gabbers" is a type of creative impromptu speaking where contestants will be able to create content in a story format. Much like impromptu, students will be given a few minutes to craft their stories, and then present in a creative way. Speakers will be judged on creativity, organization, and eloquence.
Please note that registration is a TWO-STEP process. Please pre-register on SpeechEase.com before the Pre-Registration Deadline noted in this invitation. This will help us determine the total number of schools attending. Your final registration must be received by the Registration Deadline.
