We are pleased to invite you to the Soddy Daisy High Trojan Invitational on Saturday, September 30th, 2023..

Meet Details

There will be three pre-lim rounds with 1 judge per round. The finals round will have a panel of 3 judges.
Coaches, please give us as close to the number of students you will be bringing as possible.
And a total number of adults, not restricted to the judges you will be bringing.
Buses can park behind the school.

Entry Details

The following events will be offered-
Prose, Poetry, POI, Pantomime, Duo Acting, Duet Improv, Storytelling, HI, DI, TV Broadcasting, OO,,ADS, Informative, Impromptu, Novice Prose, Novice Poetry, Debate

All first year forensics team members may enter novice prose and novice poetry. Competitors do not need to be freshman to enter.

Schools are allowed to bring as many entries in each event as they would like. Each contestant is allowed to triple. Competitors in TV may only double. Debaters may only single.


Please register on by Friday September 22,2023 at 4:00 PM.

Fee Schedule

Flat Fee Per-Individual Fee
$ 20.00 plus $ 8.00
A limited number of hired judges are available at a cost of $25.


Individual entries are $8. Partnered entries are $16.
Please make checks payable to Soddy Daisy High School.


Please bring one judge for every 6 IE entries. And one judge per two debate teams. A $25 judge fee will be added for each missing judge.


Add and drop fees will be charged for changes made Friday through Saturday. Add and drop fees are $8 each. $16 for partnered entries.

A full range of food items will be available for students to purchase for lunch and throughout the day.
Please be prepared to have your students remain at the school for lunch.

Also, a complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided for coaches, judges and accompanying adults.


We will give Sweepstakes awards for the top 3 schools. There will also be individual awards for the top 6 competitors.
There will also be a percentage award for small schools.
